Navjeevan Shaikshanik Sanstha, Mehergaon
A building of four walls with tomorrow inside - the trust that founded and runs D.R.C.P. Public School in rural Dhule.

Introduction
Why the trust exists
Navjeevan Shaikshanik Sanstha was established in 2003-2004 by our Hon'ble Founder Mr. Dilip Laxman Bhamare with the aim of providing quality education and spreading literacy among poor and socially and economically backward class students.
The trust also works to bring back into the flow of education those students who are left out and deserted because of their parents' occupations - mostly farmers, day labourers, shepherds and small vendors. It works in the interior parts of rural areas where parents are not aware of the importance of education and literacy.
After struggling for five to six years, the founder successfully started an English medium school in the remote village of Mehergaon, about 18 km from Dhule city.

Reach
From two villages to twenty-nine
The journey of the school started with 26 students from two villages and has reached 550+ students from 29 villages in Dhule Taluka. Students travel 20-25 km every day to study here, and the trust makes five buses available for their transportation.
Families from other villages now approach us for admission and ask us to start a residential school for their wards. The trust is therefore committed to constructing school buildings and a residential campus for the development and empowerment of children from Dhule district and Maharashtra state.
Our belief
Why education matters
Education is a basic need. It facilitates quality learning across every age group, changes a person from the inside and the outside, and improves confidence. Education is a process of learning and of acquiring knowledge, values, skills, moral habits and beliefs.
Without education people remain unemployed and poor, and thinking stays limited. Navjeevan Shaikshanik Sanstha is committed to educating children from poor and backward class families, allowing every student to develop to their maximum potential and become an outstanding citizen.
In partnership with D.R.C.P. Public School, the mission is to facilitate, encourage and strengthen students for independent learning and citizenship, so they can analyse their work critically and equitably while respecting the richness and diversity of all living things. The school focuses on place-based education, weaving in the natural and cultural history of Maharashtra and India, and integrating creative art into everything it does.
